Here’s a really good excuse (as if you need one) to dine out on a weekday. On Thursday, February 25 head to either Taberna Restaurant, in Fairfield or Bridgeport, to “dine out and do good.” Chef/owner Daniel Lopez will be donating a percentage from every diner’s check (from lunch and dinner that day) to the Connecticut Food Bank.
Chef Daniel creates Spanish tapas dishes, antipasti and salads, house-made pasta dishes, entrees – including two versions of paella – and an array of desserts.
Dining promotions, which are available at both locations for lunch and dinner, include:
- Order five tapas, or more, and you can choose from a free pitcher of sangria or a free bottle of house wine.
- Choose one tapas dish and one salad, during lunch, for $15 per person.
- Whenever your check is $100, or more, you will receive a gift certificate for $25 (which can be used on your next visit, whenever your check is $100 or more).
- Thursday is Ladies’ Night! Enjoy half-price beer and sangria from 4 pm to 10:30 pm.
Taberna Restaurant is located at 1229 Post Road, in the Brick Walk Promenade, in Fairfield. The “sister” Taberna Restaurant is located at 1439 Madison Avenue in Bridgeport.
