Dine Out at Taberna and Do Good

369

Here’s a really good excuse (as if you need one) to dine out on a weekday. On Thursday, February 25 head to either Taberna Restaurant, in Fairfield or Bridgeport, to “dine out and do good.” Chef/owner Daniel Lopez will be donating a percentage from every diner’s check (from lunch and dinner that day) to the Connecticut Food Bank.

As a way to give back to the community where he lives and works, Chef Daniel created his dining donation program during the last Thursday of each month.

Chef Daniel creates Spanish tapas dishes, antipasti and salads, house-made pasta dishes, entrees – including two versions of paella – and an array of desserts.

Dining promotions, which are available at both locations for lunch and dinner, include:

  • Order five tapas, or more, and you can choose from a free pitcher of sangria or a free bottle of house wine.
  • Choose one tapas dish and one salad, during lunch, for $15 per person.
  • Whenever your check is $100, or more, you will receive a gift certificate for $25 (which can be used on your next visit, whenever your check is $100 or more).
  • Thursday is Ladies’ Night! Enjoy half-price beer and sangria from 4 pm to 10:30 pm.

Taberna Restaurant is located at 1229 Post Road, in the Brick Walk Promenade, in Fairfield.  The “sister” Taberna Restaurant is located at 1439 Madison Avenue in Bridgeport.
