This Saturday, July 25th Terrain in Westport is having their annual Summer Garden Party. A full day of events, including a special appearance by entertaining expert Annie Falk, is planned to celebrate the summer season in style.
If you have never been, Terrain is a store for inspiring home and garden décor, furniture, containers, gifts, personal care items, locally sourced and prepared artisan foods, and more. At the Summer Garden Party their knowledgeable staff will share favorite entertaining tips, recipes, and drinks for a festive garden celebration.

On the day’s itinerary are a special appearance, book signing, and dinner hosted by entertaining expert and author of Hamptons Entertaining: Creating Occasions to Remember, Annie Falk.
Having entertained with the likes of Judith and Rudy Giuliani, Kara and Steve Ross, and Georgina Bloomberg, the domestic diva and expert chef has an array of activities planned. Annie will sign copies of her book from 12noon to 4 pm. Then from 6 to 7 pm, Annie will host a special cocktail hour in the café, with drinks selected from the book. Both of these events are free to the public and books will be available for purchase. All proceeds from the book sales go to benefit the Peconic Baykeeper.
That evening from 7 to 9 pm, Garden Café chef Alissa Svorka joins Annie to create a menu of local, seasonal dishes all inspired by Hamptons Entertaining. This special dinner will feature items such as Grilled Organic Chicken Kabobs with Bourbon Barbecue Sauce, as well as Pan-Seared Salmon with Creamy Mustard and Pistachio Crust. Local jazz musicians from Westport’s own Staples High School will additionally perform. Reservations are required. Tickets for the special dinner are $75 per person plus tax and gratuity.
