Mark Your Calendar: July Farm To Table Dinner

4

With the success of the first Farm To Table Dinner back in May, Chef Michael Bick of Some Thing’s Fishy Catering promised he would do it again. Well, I’m delighted that we didn’t have to wait very long.

That’s right, mark your calendars and make your reservations for the next Farm To Table Dinner at Holbrook Farm on Sunday, July 22nd.

The best part about “local eating” is that the menu is always evolving with the seasons. This one reflects the bounty of summer – tomatoes, zucchini, herbs, stone fruit. It looks like it’s going to be a summer feast. Check it out:

This event sounds really cool! I wish it was closer to me. I love farm to table restaurants and dinners, especially since those who do not have much exposure to local foods are often so impressed upon their first visit to one of these tastings that they make more of an effort to "go local" in the future. Woo hoo!

  2. Yeah, it definitely inspires people. I'm really looking forward to it.
