Once again I participated in the Post University Earth Day celebration. It was a day full of interesting vendors, important information and, of course, fun!
The theme for my table this year was “Know Your Food.” I had recipes for ingredients currently in season, a display about how food impacts the environment and a few simple things we can do to reduce our “foodprint,” and a quiz about some of the crazy things in processed food. I think I convinced more than one student to: Read those food labels!
