The concept of local wine takes on a whole new meaning when you are smack dab in the middle of Italian wine country.
Yup, sampling fantastic local wine has to be one of the best parts from my recent travels around Tuscany. I truly have a new appreciation for the intricate process of wine making. The landscape alone is quite a sight, filled with grape vines and vineyards of all sizes.
We sampled Chianti from Castellina in Chianti and Greve in Chianti; Brunello from Montalcino; Vine Nobile from Montepulciano; and a little Vin Santo too (just to name a few).
